Anti-Wrinkle injections are an effective way of softening fine lines and wrinkles. They are injected directly into the muscle that causes facial contractions, for example the frown lines between the brows, and work by stopping facial nerves from sending the message to the muscle to contract each time you make a facial expression.

This allows the muscle to relax and as a result, the overlying skin releases its wrinkle. Anti-Wrinkle injections and fillers can be used in a variety of treatable areas of the face, depending on where your wrinkles are.

Dermal Fillers or Restylane contains hyaluronic acid which is naturally found in our skin. As we age, we produce less hyaluronic acid resulting in the skin losing its elasticity and radiance. The administration of Restylane replaces the hyaluronic acid which adds volume to enhance volume and freshness. It is specifically designed to enhance the lips and reduce moderate facial wrinkles e.g. glabellar region or deep frown lines, cheek lines (nasolabial folds), smile lines and marionette lines at the corners of the mouth. Restylane Lidocaine (contains anaesthetic) can be used in order to increase your comfort during your treatment.

Anti-Wrinkle Treatments and Dermal Fillers can be used to treat many common complaint areas these include Forehead, Eyes (Crow’s Feet), Lip & Mouth Creases, Nose & Mouth Lines and Armpits or Hyperhidrosis.
